I could pull my wedding band off pretty easily with a quick twist. Hopefully my fingers won't get any bulkier for the coming 2-3 years, as the gyms are open again and I'm going to work out more (no idea if working out with weights has any effect on finger muscles and their sizes).Īnyway, thanks all for the comments, hope this helps! It's tight, but that will hopefully give me better readings, and it's summer now, so I'm not confident with size 11, will probably loose that one when my fingers slim down when it gets colder. Oura changed something in their production process somewhere, either the sizing kit or the ring size, to be more true in size to each other.įor me this means I know that I'm probably more of a 10.5 size, but Oura unfortunately doesn't make half sizes. I can only comment on size 10, which to me is a perfect match with the sizing kit.

size 9 or 11 is less of a match than size 10). There can still be a size difference with other sizes (e.g. Others only think the ring is larger, because it's smoother or because they tried the ring on at a different time of day (when their fingers are a different size) I do have to say the inside of the ring is smoother/nicer material of course, it's not the sweaty cheap plastic of the sizing kit rings, so it does slide easier on the skin, but the size is the same. It doesn't feel any larger or smaller and I see no difference in size when I lay them on top of each other to compare. It's still hard for me to take it off over the knuckles. I can say that the ring is in my opinion the exact same size as the sizing kit ring. Hey guys, received my ring yesterday, size 10. I'm thinking of ordering size 10 now in the hopes that it will actually be 10.25 or 10.5 (instead of only sliding on/off easier because of different material), so that it's still nice and snug for the readings, no chance of losing it with colder hands, and it will hopefully be a little less uncomfortable than the sizing kit 10 when my fingers swell during the day.

Guess I'll have to choose what's right for one finger (ringfinger ideally as that's where I want to wear it), or let the ring switch hands.

They are all different sizes, and going to 11 I, will have the same issue on the middle finger that I have with the 10 on my ringfinger. I also don't have any luck finding a size that fits multiple fingers.
ACTUAL SIZE RING SIZER SKIN
I can still twist the ring, but when my fingers swell I feel like it's pressing on the skin so much that it's restricting blood flow a bit, not the most comfortable.
ACTUAL SIZE RING SIZER FULL
(The difference throughout the day is a full ring size or even more for me, I never knew this as a non-ring-wearer). Size 10 is however on the small side and really hard to get off without stretching the finger or using water/soap when my fingers swell. If the actual ring is even slightly bigger, it will be too large for sure. It also turns around easily so that the sensors will go to the side or the top of my finger when I'm working behind a computer. Size 11 is too large for my ringfinger, it comes off without much effort when my hands are warm, so in colder weather I'd have a good chance of losing the ring or I will get bad readings (snug is better for the sensors?). The plastic rings from the sizing kit are cheap material and quite rough.Īs many of you, I'm stuck between two sizes: I was wondering if anyone had a good look and checked if they are really slightly bigger (like a 0.25-0.5 size difference), or that it only feels bigger, because it's a different material with less friction? Getting it on and off the finger more easily doesn't have to mean it's bigger. I was wondering what's the consensus nowadays between the sizing kit and actual ring size for recent Oura owners?Ī lot of people have stated that the actual ring is slightly bigger than the testkit.
